The work Burnt Umber & Ultramarine Blue by Yun Hyong-Keun was sold in the Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 201,872.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yun Hyong-Keun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 531,674.90).

Die Arbeit Burnt Umber & Ultramarine Blue von Yun Hyong-Keun wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 201.872,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yun Hyong-Keun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75 beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 531.674,90) versteigert wurde.
