Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Asobi: Japanese & Korean Postwar Art, which included the work Work GAY-27 by Yuko Nasaka. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,355.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuko Nasaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8 (Infinity) 1964-9 in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Asobi: Japanese & Korean Postwar Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work GAY-27 von Yuko Nasaka zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.355,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuko Nasaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8 (Infinity) 1964-9 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
