Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Transvest - Sophie and Eva by Yuki Onodera for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,151.10). This price was achieved in the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Yuki Onodera have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2013 by the work Sophie & Eva from Transvest at USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,018.07).
