The work Haze 6 by Yuichi Hirako was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 302,400.00 (€ 38,751.28), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Hirako achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).

Die Arbeit Haze 6 von Yuichi Hirako wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 38.751,28) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
