Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Boy 83 by Yuichi Hirako was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,486.77), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Hirako achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boy 83 von Yuichi Hirako wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.486,77) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
