Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year POLY held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings, which included the work Prosperity by Yuan Jai. The price achieved of HKD 389,400.00 (€ 49,289.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 320,000.00 – 420,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prosperity von Yuan Jai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 389.400,00 (€ 49.289,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 320.000,00 – 420.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
