The work In Pairs No. 1 by Yuan Jai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It achieved a price of HKD 1,080,000.00 (€ 1,102,891.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Jai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Dining Table, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).

Die Arbeit In Pairs No. 1 von Yuan Jai wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.080.000,00 (€ 1.102.891,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Dining Table beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52) versteigert wurde.
