Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work Little Dragon Playing Ball by Yuan Jai. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 283,200.00 (€ 33,326.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Dragon Playing Ball von Yuan Jai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 283.200,00 (€ 33.326,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
