Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Visiting Friends in the Mountains by Yuan Songnian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250 (€ 5,842). Admittedly, works by Yuan Songnian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Visiting Friends in the Mountains von Yuan Songnian wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250 (€ 5.842) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
