This artwork by Yuan Jai achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Heaven And Earth Ii sold for HKD 299,000.00 (€ 28,373.55) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuan Jai erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Heaven And Earth Ii für HKD 299.000,00 (€ 28.373,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 160.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
