Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Communion of Man and Nature by Yuan Jai was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 810,000.00 (€ 80,326.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Communion of Man and Nature von Yuan Jai wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 810.000,00 (€ 80.326,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
