In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Manhattan Bridge Plaza by Yuan Fang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 120,000.00 (€ 14,511.73), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seeding 05 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Manhattan Bridge Plaza von Yuan Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 14.511,73) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seeding 05 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30).
