A top price for Yuan Fang
This artwork by Yuan Fang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Making Her Mark: 20th/21st Century Women Artists auction, the work Seeding 05 sold for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. This high result makes Seeding 05 the most expensive artwork by Yuan Fang that we have observed at auctions so far.
