Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yu Zicai could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Pine and Waterfall changed hands for HKD 6,300.00 (€ 754.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Zicai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise At Alishan in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Zicai konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wechselte die Arbeit Pine and Waterfall für HKD 6.300,00 (€ 754,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Zicai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise At Alishan im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
