Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Cloudy Mountain by Yu Zicai for HKD 7,560.00 (€ 905.96). This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Zicai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunrise At Alishan in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cloudy Mountain von Yu Zicai für HKD 7.560,00 (€ 905,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Zicai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunrise At Alishan im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
