Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script Of Miu Zhuan Style by Yu Yue was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,454.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Yue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphic Couplets in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,277.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script Of Miu Zhuan Style von Yu Yue wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.454,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Yue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.277,01).
