Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poems In Xingshu by Yu Yue was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,829.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Yue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphic Couplets, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,277.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poems In Xingshu von Yu Yue kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.829,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Yue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.277,01) versteigert wurde.
