Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven Character Couplet In Clerical Script by Yu Yue was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,033.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Yue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphic Couplets, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,277.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven Character Couplet In Clerical Script von Yu Yue wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.033,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Yue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.277,01) versteigert wurde.
