Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Birds And Plum Blossom by Yu Yuan. The price achieved of HKD 17,500.00 (€ 1,917.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hundred Birds Obeisance'S To The Phoenixs in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,562,500.00 (€ 171,192.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Birds And Plum Blossom von Yu Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 17.500,00 (€ 1.917,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hundred Birds Obeisance'S To The Phoenixs im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.562.500,00 (€ 171.192,88).
