Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spring Birds Joining Their Songs by Song Yu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,218.54). Admittedly, works by Song Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 30,500.00 (€ 26,323.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring Birds Joining Their Songs von Song Yu kam im März 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.218,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 30.500,00 (€ 26.323,46).
