Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds And Flowers by Song Yu was sold in the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,347.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 30,500.00 (€ 26,323.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds And Flowers von Song Yu wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.347,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 30.500,00 (€ 26.323,46).
