Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Green Melody by Song Yu for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,521.78). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Including a Collection of Works by Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 30,500.00 (€ 26,323.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Green Melody von Song Yu für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.521,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Including a Collection of Works by Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 30.500,00 (€ 26.323,46).
