It achieved a price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,958.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Song Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 30,500.00 (€ 26,323.46).

Die Arbeit Flowers and Birds after Yun Shouping von Song Yu kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.958,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with flowers and chair. 2007. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 30.500,00 (€ 26.323,46).
