Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch), which included the work Routine - Meet At The Party by Yu Hong. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 61,180.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yu Hong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait With Alternating Red And Green in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 439,732.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Routine - Meet At The Party von Yu Hong zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 61.180,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Hong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait With Alternating Red And Green im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 439.732,81).
