Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Backside of a front" by Yrjö Edelmann. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,168.80). Admittedly, works by Yrjö Edelmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Packed Night Heaven, 2001 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,665.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Backside of a front" von Yrjö Edelmann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.168,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yrjö Edelmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Packed Night Heaven, 2001 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.075,00 (€ 25.665,64).
