In November last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Montage" by Yrjö Edelmann. The result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,380.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yrjö Edelmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Packed Night Heaven, 2001 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,665.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Montage" von Yrjö Edelmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.380,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yrjö Edelmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Packed Night Heaven, 2001 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.075,00 (€ 25.665,64).
