This work without title by Yrjö Edelmann was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year. The result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,725.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yrjö Edelmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Packed Night Heaven, 2001 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,665.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yrjö Edelmann kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.725,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yrjö Edelmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Packed Night Heaven, 2001 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.075,00 (€ 25.665,64).
