Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yrjö Edelmann could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation auction, the work Repetitive sensations of Yves Klein Blue II, 2016 changed hands for USD 535.50 (€ 499.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yrjö Edelmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Packed Night Heaven, 2001 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,665.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yrjö Edelmann konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation wechselte die Arbeit Repetitive sensations of Yves Klein Blue II, 2016 für USD 535,50 (€ 499,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yrjö Edelmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Packed Night Heaven, 2001 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.075,00 (€ 25.665,64).
