Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Youssef Kamel was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,795.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Youssef Kamel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,219.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Youssef Kamel wurde im März 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.795,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Youssef Kamel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.219,28) versteigert wurde.
