A top price for You Qiu
When the work Lohans Crossing The Sea by You Qiu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2016, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 85,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at USD 346,000.00 (€ 307,883.97). This high result makes Lohans Crossing The Sea the most expensive artwork by You Qiu that we have observed at auctions so far.
