Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seaweed Harvest by Yoshiyuki Iwase was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,620.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Yoshiyuki Iwase have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Untitled, 1955 was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,742.70).
