In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Online, which included the work Tebo 8917 by Michio Yoshihara. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michio Yoshihara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tebo 8917 von Michio Yoshihara zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.553,16) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michio Yoshihara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67).
