Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work P Jet 2 by Michio Yoshihara. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,426.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michio Yoshihara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit P Jet 2 von Michio Yoshihara zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.426,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michio Yoshihara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67).
