Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mendocino, Sunrise by Yoshida Toshi was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,597.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yoshida Toshi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Five woodblock prints was auctioned for GBP 5,292.00 (€ 6,157.36).

Die Arbeit Mendocino, Sunrise von Yoshida Toshi wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert.
