Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Still Life(two balls) & Still Life (heart on table) by Yoo Hyun Mi. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,232.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yoo Hyun Mi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Earth No. 1 from Still Life, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,809.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life(two balls) & Still Life (heart on table) von Yoo Hyun Mi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.232,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yoo Hyun Mi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Earth No. 1 from Still Life beobachtet, die im September 2020 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.809,91) versteigert wurde.
