Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Small Galaxy by Yoo Hyun Mi was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,009.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yoo Hyun Mi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Earth No. 1 from Still Life, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,809.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Small Galaxy von Yoo Hyun Mi wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.009,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Yoo Hyun Mi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Earth No. 1 from Still Life beobachtet, die im September 2020 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.809,91) versteigert wurde.
