Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Composition (Chair and 8) by Yoo Hyun Mi. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,843.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yoo Hyun Mi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Earth No. 1 from Still Life in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,809.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition (Chair and 8) von Yoo Hyun Mi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.843,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yoo Hyun Mi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Earth No. 1 from Still Life im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.809,91).
