Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ying Yeping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Wuyi Mountains sold for HKD 750,000.00 (€ 81,940.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ying Yeping; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Wuyi Mountains sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of HKD 990,000.00 (€ 98,176.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ying Yeping erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Wuyi Mountains für HKD 750.000,00 (€ 81.940,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ying Yeping; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Wuyi Mountains im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 990.000,00 (€ 98.176,78).
