This artwork by Ying Yeping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Ink Landscape sold for HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,188.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ying Yeping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wuyi Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 990,000.00 (€ 98,176.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ying Yeping erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Ink Landscape für HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.188,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ying Yeping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wuyi Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 990.000,00 (€ 98.176,78).
