In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work After the Rain by Ying Yeping. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,728.74), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ying Yeping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wuyi Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 990,000.00 (€ 98,176.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit After the Rain von Ying Yeping zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.728,74) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ying Yeping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wuyi Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 990.000,00 (€ 98.176,78).
