Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Sevastopol After Liberation, 1944 by Yevgeni Khaldei for USD 625.00 (€ 439.55). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yevgeni Khaldei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 85,851.65).
Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 85.851,65).
