Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yehudit Sasportas could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,871.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehudit Sasportas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Name - Diptych, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yehudit Sasportas konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.871,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77) versteigert wurde.
