Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yehudit Sasportas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2011. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,635.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yehudit Sasportas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Name - Diptych in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yehudit Sasportas kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.635,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77).
