Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese Paintings-The Online sale, which included the work Dancing Girl, 1992 by Ye Qianyu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,600.00 (€ 3,088.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Qianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Banquet at Highland in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 57,516.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dancing Girl, 1992 von Ye Qianyu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.600,00 (€ 3.088,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Qianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Banquet at Highland im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 57.516,35).
