The work Portraits of Y.K. Shukla and Correspondences by Ye Qianyu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. It achieved a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,753.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Ye Qianyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Banquet at Highland in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 57,516.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portraits of Y.K. Shukla and Correspondences von Ye Qianyu kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.753,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ye Qianyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Banquet at Highland im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 57.516,35).
