The work Snow Street by Ye Jianqing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,351.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ye Jianqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Willow Pond, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 576,000.00 (€ 54,846.95).

Die Arbeit Snow Street von Ye Jianqing kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.351,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ye Jianqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Willow Pond beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 576.000,00 (€ 54.846,95) versteigert wurde.
