Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ye Jianqing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work Hutong Reflections sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 14,442.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ye Jianqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Willow Pond, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 576,000.00 (€ 54,846.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ye Jianqing erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit Hutong Reflections für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 14.442,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ye Jianqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Willow Pond beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 576.000,00 (€ 54.846,95) versteigert wurde.
