Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reflection By The River by Ye Jianqing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 235,500.00 (€ 19,387.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ye Jianqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Willow Pond, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 576,000.00 (€ 54,846.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reflection By The River von Ye Jianqing kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 235.500,00 (€ 19.387,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ye Jianqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Willow Pond beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 576.000,00 (€ 54.846,95) versteigert wurde.
