Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Ladder by Yasuyuki Nishio. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,394.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuyuki Nishio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minsk in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,607,500.00 (€ 296,992.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladder von Yasuyuki Nishio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.394,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuyuki Nishio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minsk im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.607.500,00 (€ 296.992,77).
