Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Toward inner & besides inner by Yasuyuki Nishio was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,998.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuyuki Nishio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minsk in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,607,500.00 (€ 296,992.77).

Die Arbeit Toward inner & besides inner von Yasuyuki Nishio kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 4.998,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuyuki Nishio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minsk im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.607.500,00 (€ 296.992,77).
